Adults age 23 and over with cognitive disabilities are eligible to interview with the interPLAY Orchestra staff

“Bandaide” Volunteer

Volunteers (age 15 and over*) assist Orchestra musicians and play alongside them, both in-person and via Zoom. No musical background is required. Volunteers are asked to commit to weekly rehearsals from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Monday nights for live rehearsals, Tuesday nights for Zoom rehearsals), plus three concerts a year.

MCPS SSL
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Students are eligible to receive SSL Credit hours for their volunteer work with interPLAY Orchestra.  Private school students are also eligible to receive volunteer hours if applicable.

Students from colleges and universities and other adults are encouraged to contact us for volunteer opportunities.

 

Guest Performer

We are always looking for guest artists to participate in our performances. We have worked with conductors and musical artists with both local and national reputations. Please contact us by email: contact@interplayorchestra.org.

Write Original Music for the Orchestra to Perform

The interPLAY Orchestra is interested in playing your original music, and in your participation performing it! Original music must include basic percussion.  Please contact us by email: contact@interplayorchestra.org.
